Monetization and distribution network for app developers, W3i, today announces a programme specifically for iOS developer of the game. New service currently in beta, simply called "platform games", the company said. Its objective will be to meet the challenges faced by developers of games, such as Server installation, maintenance, security, showcases and analytics.
The idea for the service has a number of interviews with the developers of mobile games by W3i in recent weeks. The most common headaches, especially for small or hobbyist developers engaged in installation of the infrastructure necessary to support their applications, the company found. Most developers most likely will focus on the actual game is not a server, setting up and maintenance.
In addition the new service will also help freemium developers create and maintain virtual goods store, which is easily reused across multiple games. Analysis Services also includes detailed breakdown of income by elements of the store, which is a function that does not currently offer several competing analysis services.
W3i now invites interested developers to sign up for the beta service and providing feedback. In exchange for service testing, these developers will get access at no charge. There will be a limited number of spots available in the beta period. No information about the date and price of the official launch was announced at this time.
