While Windows phone junkies, still waiting to fix their mango arrive, Redmond in the next update is beginning to emerge. Previously named "Tango", the update will most likely wedged between his predecessor and the upcoming phone fruit 8 Windows. Details are still scarce, but ZDNet's Mary Jo Foley has a few ideas of where Tango will take us not mango.

According to its anonymous sources Tango is "all about Nokia." It certainly fits in the Gamble, Nokia takes on Windows, although there is not much to show for it yet. To date, Nokia Searay prototype is the only device to make an appearance, but many budget models may be at work.

The same source also noted that the Tango can be used much-needed foothold in low cost Asian market. Although a grain of salt should always be taken with the these kinds of claims, the appropriate Microsoft and Nokia in February, the promise of low-cost devices coming down the pipeline. This is an intriguing mix — low cost equipment and solid OS are able to make quite a splash, but it raises the question of where Microsoft believes their best chances.

Microsoft has already made them push in Japan, with Fujitsu and carrier KDDI launches world's first mango powered phone. China is a distinct possibility, but if Microsoft makes a play there, it will require a bit of work to make sure that their new users get the experience they deserve. Windows Marketplace will be officially opened in China, leaving smart users working from the US market stuck without access in recent days.
